David Shipley

David Shipley is the senior executive editor of Bloomberg View. He was previously the deputy editorial page editor and op-ed page editor for the New York Times. He served in the Clinton administration as special assistant to the president and senior presidential speechwriter. Before that, he was executive editor at the New Republic. Shipley is co-author of "Send: Why People Email So Badly and How to Do It Better."

Timothy L. O'Brien

Timothy L. O'Brien is the publisher of Bloomberg View. He was previously the executive editor of the Huffington Post, where he edited a series on wounded veterans that won a Pulitzer Prize. Prior to that he was the Sunday Business editor and a reporter at the New York Times. He has also worked for the Wall Street Journal and National Geographic. He is a recipient of a Loeb Award for Distinguished Business Journalism and is the author of three books.

Lisa Strausfeld

Lisa Strausfeld is the creative director of Bloomberg View. She joined Bloomberg in 2012 as Global Head of Data Visualization and before that was a partner at Pentagram Design and the founder of two startups. She received the 2010 National Design Award for Interaction Design and holds several patents for user interfaces and intelligent search.

David J. Harding

David J. Harding is the product and technology director of Bloomberg View. He was previously the head of research and development for Bloomberg's Visual Data and Shared Services teams. Prior to that he was a technology consultant.

Francis Barry

Francis Barry writes editorials on politics and domestic policy. He previously served as Director of Public Affairs and Chief Speechwriter for New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg. He is the author of "The Scandal of Reform: The Grand Failures of New York City’s Political Crusaders and the Death of Nonpartisanship."

Max Berley

Max Berley is an editor. He was previously in the Washington bureau of Bloomberg News and at the Washington Post.

Marc Champion

Marc Champion writes editorials on international affairs. He was previously Istanbul bureau chief for the Wall Street Journal. He was also an editor at the Financial Times, the editor-in-chief of the Moscow Times and a correspondent for the Independent in Washington, the Balkans and Moscow. He is based in London.

Clive Crook

Clive Crook is a Bloomberg View columnist and a member of the Bloomberg View editorial board. He has worked for the Financial Times, the Economist and the Atlantic.

Mary Duenwald

Mary Duenwald writes editorials on energy, health care and science. She was previously deputy editor of the New York Times op-ed page. She was also a senior editor at Harper's Bazaar, Real Simple, the Sciences and Vogue.

Paula Dwyer

Paula Dwyer writes editorials on economics, finance and politics. She was previously London bureau chief for Businessweek and Washington economics editor for the New York Times. She is the co-author, with former SEC Chairman Arthur Levitt, of "Take On the Street."

Christopher Flavelle

Christopher Flavelle writes editorials on health care, economics and taxation. He was previously a senior policy analyst for Bloomberg Government. He also covered the 2009 stimulus package for ProPublica.

James Gibney

James Gibney writes editorials on international affairs. He was previously features editor at the Atlantic, deputy editor at the New York Times op-ed page and executive editor at Foreign Policy magazine. He was a foreign service officer and a speechwriter for Secretary of State Warren Christopher, National Security Adviser Anthony Lake and President Bill Clinton.

Mark Gilbert is a Bloomberg View columnist and a member of the Bloomberg View editorial board. He has worked at Bloomberg News since 1991, most recently as London bureau chief. He is the author of "Complicit: How Greed and Collusion Made the Credit Crisis"

James Greiff

James Greiff is an editor. He was previously Wall Street news team leader at Bloomberg News and senior editor for Bloomberg Markets magazine. He also worked at the St. Petersburg Times and Charlotte Observer, reporting on the banking industry.

Nisid Hajari

Nisid Hajari writes editorials on Asia. He was previously managing editor and foreign editor of Newsweek magazine, as well as managing editor of Newsweek International. He was also an editor and writer at Time Asia in Hong Kong. He is based in Singapore.
